June 26 From Gent to Spijkenisse to Haastraat Netherlands



We left the medieval city of Gent and headed to one of Eldon’s areas Spijkenisse..then to stay at an airbnb at a  farm in  Haastraat,  Netherlands for our last few days. In Spijkenisse we stopped at the super cool pyramid looking library . It was very hot outside and guess what! No one seems to have air-conditioning in the Netherlands! And We are tired out! We did spend as long as we hoped due to the heat and headed to where we will stay . We were welcomed by our Airbnb hostess Elles who showed us around the farm.

June 27 Visiting Gouda

Today we visited the Cheese Market in Gouda!. We saw a reenactment of the cheese bartering for prices and weighing of the cheese. We then walked around the city and found a super cool windmill we were able to climb up. Then we found the Lego Store.. it is VERY hot here with absolutely no rain! The Lego store had air conditioning! Then we played a little on the property where we are staying. It's quite peaceful here!

June 24 Gent Belgium

Today we explored Gravensteen Castle! It was a lot of fun and super cool. We also explored Gent and just enjoyed the scenery of the whole place. We got waffles and ice cream which were soooo yummy. Image hot waffle with crispy outsides, soft insides with warm Nutella and icecream. It seriously was amazing!! These were Liege waffles. With a sweet crisp taste.. yum!!!!!!!
