June 16 cruise Day 6 Belfast Ireland The Giant Causeway


Today we ate a big breakfast and exited the ship as soon as it was possible to meet a tour. We are in Belfast and took an excursion that   lasted from 8:30am -4pm to see the Giant Causeway.  It was a beautiful ride! We saw a ton of sheep and beautiful Ireland! We drove the Giant Causeway Coastal drive which was amazing! We had a great tour guide Martin who told us the history of Ireland.  The Giant Causeway was about a 90 min drive and we were certainly glad to be on a tour with the windy narrow roads! It is "Green" night on the cruise in honor of visiting Ireland !

June 27 Visiting Gouda

Today we visited the Cheese Market in Gouda!. We saw a reenactment of the cheese bartering for prices and weighing of the cheese. We then walked around the city and found a super cool windmill we were able to climb up. Then we found the Lego Store.. it is VERY hot here with absolutely no rain! The Lego store had air conditioning! Then we played a little on the property where we are staying. It's quite peaceful here!

June 24 Gent Belgium

Today we explored Gravensteen Castle! It was a lot of fun and super cool. We also explored Gent and just enjoyed the scenery of the whole place. We got waffles and ice cream which were soooo yummy. Image hot waffle with crispy outsides, soft insides with warm Nutella and icecream. It seriously was amazing!! These were Liege waffles. With a sweet crisp taste.. yum!!!!!!!
