June 14 Invergordon Scotland cruise day 4
We decided to hold off on an excursion as we have a few others so this was a slower stop. Super small town. We did find the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints ward building on main street just steps from where we docked. We found a few souvenirs, went to a museum about local history and did a nature walk. The people were exceptionally friendly. Then we went back to the ship. Joseph and I did a few games of shuffle board on deck and then we went out again for a quick walk around. There were excursions offered to Inverness and other spots such as nearby castles. The lockness monster is the subject of many of the offered excursions! It was a fun slower day. The cruise ship offered Haggis as an appetizer as part of dinner so we all tried it. It wasn't bad! For dinner the kitchen and wait staff led everyone in the macarena dance for Caribbean night. Super fun!
The entertainment was a mixture of songs from Broadway with lots of dancers and singers from royal caribbean. Really cool show! We saw some familiar Broadway plays portrayed and new ones. The chess one looked super cool!
