June 13 Edinburgh Scotland Castle cruise day 3


 Today we had a great day visiting Edinburgh.  We had to take a tender to shore. The first tender we took was a tour boat from Scotland. We took a cruiselink bus called the x99 for a half hr to Edinburgh and went to the castle.  Most impressive parts were the crown jewels and the dungeon. Walking the Royal Mile was a trek! The way back we took a tender that was also a life boat. That was fun too! On the ship Joseph had fun doing open archery. I even got a try. For the entertainment we watched the royal carribbean singers . They were fantastic. One is a girl from Newark, NJ and another from Barcelona ( born) raised in Florida. Both were Amazing!

June 27 Visiting Gouda

Today we visited the Cheese Market in Gouda!. We saw a reenactment of the cheese bartering for prices and weighing of the cheese. We then walked around the city and found a super cool windmill we were able to climb up. Then we found the Lego Store.. it is VERY hot here with absolutely no rain! The Lego store had air conditioning! Then we played a little on the property where we are staying. It's quite peaceful here!

June 24 Gent Belgium

Today we explored Gravensteen Castle! It was a lot of fun and super cool. We also explored Gent and just enjoyed the scenery of the whole place. We got waffles and ice cream which were soooo yummy. Image hot waffle with crispy outsides, soft insides with warm Nutella and icecream. It seriously was amazing!! These were Liege waffles. With a sweet crisp taste.. yum!!!!!!!
